In 2019, The Sullivan Group partnered with Nuance Communication [NASDAQ: NUAN] to develop ED Guidance (EDG), an AI-based decision support tool that can be used with their Dragon Medical One voice-recognition product.
EDG is part of the Nuance Computer-Assisted Physician Documentation (CAPD) solution set and it is made available through Nuance Healthcare. It utilizes The Sullivan Group’s clinical content and risk mitigation algorithms to help practitioners avoid diagnostic errors and improve documentation compliance on key clinical elements that have been associated with adverse events and malpractice litigation.
