Why do I need to register?
A

The registration process accomplishes several things.

  • Validates that you are a member of the system.
  • Directs you to the proper courses you have been enrolled in.
  • Allows you to select your own User Name and Password, making it easier for you to remember them.

Do I have to register every time I want to login?
A
No, once you have registered for your course(s), all you need to do is click on ‘Course Login’ and enter your User Name and Password.

How do I register?
A
  1. Click on the "Course Registration" hyperlink, located on the side menu.
  2. Look at your "HCI / TSG Web Course Registration and Login Instructions".
  3. Find the "User Registration Information and Login Instructions" section.
  4. Enter your First Name exactly as it is written on the instructions.
  5. Enter your Last Name exactly as it is written on the instructions.
  6. Enter your ID-Code exactly as it is written on the instructions.
  7. Click the "Login" button.
  8. The registration page will appear.
  9. Create a User Name - Letters and numbers only, minimum of 6 characters.
  10. Create a password - Letters and numbers only, minimum 6 characters.
  11. Re-type your password for verification purposes.
  12. Enter your E-mail Address (If you have one).
  13. Select your password hint questions, and enter the answers.
  14. The next few lines are optional.
  15. Click on the Register button. The 'You have Successfully Completed the Registration' page will appear. Click the 'To Login, Click here' hyperlink.
  16. Next, the Login Page appears.
  17. Enter the User Name you just created.
  18. Enter the Password you just created.
  19. Click the Login button.
  20. You will now be on the overview section of your personal home pages.
  21. To learn more about your new personal home pages click on the ‘Help’ tab.
  22. To begin taking your courses click on the ‘My Curriculum - Begin Taking Courses’ tab.

Do I need to remember my ID-Code?

No, once you have successfully registered, you will not need to remember your ID-Code. The only thing you need to remember is your User Name and Password.

What is a User Name?
A
A User Name is a combination of numbers and / or characters, minimum of 6 characters in length.
Example: jsmith OR mfox123 OR bigbird.
Do not include spaces or special any special characters.

Are there any requirements for my Password?
A
Like the User Name, the Password must be at least 6 characters long and contain only numbers and letters. No special characters. The passwords are not case sensitive. It is a good idea to pick something that is not easily guessed by someone else.

How do I login?

  1. From the side menu, Click on 'Course Login'
  2. Enter your User name and Password.
  3. You will now be on the overview section of your personal home pages.
  4. To begin taking your courses click on the ‘My Curriculum - Begin Taking Courses’ tab.

What if I forget my User Name or Password?

  1. Click ‘Course Login'.
  2. Click on the ‘Forgot Password’ hyperlink.
  3. Select either ‘Answer your password hint question’ or ‘Send Instructions by e-mail’.
  4. Click ‘Continue’.
  5. Follow the instructions to obtain your login information.

Can I Log Out from a course and return later to continue?

You are allowed to log out of all courses at any point in the course. When you log back in you can continue where you last left off.

How do I log back in once I have exited the course?

  1. Type http://www.webhci.com/ into the address bar on your browser.
  2. The HCI Web Site will appear. On the side menu, you will notice a hyperlink labeled 'Emergency Services Education / Sullivan Group'. Click on it.
  3. The HCI Acknowledgment page appears. You must click 'Accept', to continue.
  4. From the side menu, Click on 'Course Login'
  5. Enter your User name and Password.

Our Courses were designed to be viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater and run in a resolution of 800 x 600. View in another browser or at a different resolution may cause some misalignment.
